Friends of Millennium Wood provides a much loved and valued service for the community.

We need your help so we can continue to offer and even expand our service!

Millennium Wood is a frequently used Community woodland, serving the parish of Little Hadham. The local village primary school use the wood for their Forest school curriculum and myself and other helpers organise monthly events for the local residents. We have moth nights, children's bug hunts, Big Butterfly count, Bird surveys and are now looking to improve the bio diversity of the 4 acre site by purchasing bee nesting homes, bird nest boxes, improve the newly dug pond with further wild flowers and generally maintain the wood to a healthy standard.

All moneys raised will be spent on making this popular community woodland an even better local asset.
